Job summary

California State University, Long Beach (CSULB) invites applications for an Athletic Events Light Auto Equipment Operator. This temporary, full-time position is located in Long Beach within FM Grounds and focuses on operating riding mowers, tractors, turf sweepers, and other small equipment used in landscape maintenance and athletic field prep.

The ideal candidate will hold a valid CA driver's license, safely operate a wide range of equipment, document daily labor and vehicle inspections, and

Qualifications

• Valid CA driver's license and clean driving record.
• Experience operating grounds equipment such as mowers, tractors, and turf sweepers.
• Ability to document daily labor and vehicle inspections.

Responsibilities

• Operates riding lawn mowing equipment and related landscape machinery.
• Performs landscaping tasks including weeding, planting, watering, and pruning.
• Supports athletic field prep and campus ceremonies as needed.
