Job summary

GOODWILL IND OF THE CHESAPEAKE INC is seeking a Groundskeeper to support Coppin State University's grounds, performing mowing, pruning, and seasonal maintenance. The role includes maintaining roads, parking areas, and related facilities with five 8-hour shifts per week.

The position requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in rain, snow, heat, and cold, following university and department procedures. Prior grounds experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written instructions.
• Experience with personal computers, telephones and copier, email, etc.
• Operate and perform minor maintenance on landscape tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist landscape personnel with planting, pruning, seeding, mulching and weeding.
• Maintain roads, storm drains, parking lots, and perform snow/ice removal tasks.
• Operate and maintain related hand power equipment.
