Compass Group USA is hiring immediately for a full-time Food Service Worker at the University of Miami in Coral Gables, FL. The schedule is Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm, with pay at $16.00 per hour.

Prior food or customer service experience is preferred, and online applications are accepted. As a Food Service Worker, you will prepare and serve food, perform prep tasks, ensure quality and food safety, assist customers, and help maintain clean work areas.

• Prepares, presents and serves food as needed.
• Washes, peels, cuts and seeds fruits/vegetables.
• Weighs and measures designated ingredients.
• Carries pans, kettles and trays of food safely between stations.
• Stores food following wrapping, dating and rotation procedures.
• Cleans work areas, equipment and utensils.
• Distributes supplies and portable equipment.
• Uses recipes and portion controls to ensure quality and serving temperatures.
• Serves customers with friendly, efficient service.
• Resolves customer concerns and relays information to supervisor.
