Job summary

Compass Group USA is hiring for Food Service Worker/Cashier roles at Maryville campus. The positions are full time and part time with evenings and weekends. Pay range is $14.00 to $15.00 per hour, with online applications accepted only.

The role includes cashiering duties, general food service tasks, and maintaining sanitation standards in preparation, service and dining areas. Prior food service and cashier experience is preferred and must be able to work in an educational facility.

Responsibilities

• Performs prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting and seeding fruits and vegetables.
• Carries pans, kettles and trays of food to and from work stations, stove and refrigerator following safety standards.
• Stores foods in designated areas following wrapping, dating, and food safety procedures.
• Cleans work areas, equipment and utensils.
• Enters sales into the cash register to ensure purchases are accurately recorded.
• Makes changes, accepts payment methods, and issues receipts.
• Replenishes condiments and general supplies while keeping area clean.
