Compass Group's Chartwells Higher Ed team is hiring a Food Service Worker at Boise State University in Boise, Idaho. This position offers full-time and part-time hours with days and hours that may vary, and pays between $15.00 and $17.00 per hour.

The role requires food and customer service experience and involves food prep, serving, and guest service in a campus dining environment. Expect responsibilities such as following recipes, maintaining food safety standards, and keeping work areas

Qualifications

• Food and customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, presents and serves food as needed.
• Performs prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting and seeding fruits and vegetables.
• Weighs and measures designated ingredients.
• Stores food in designated areas following wrapping, dating, food safety and rotation procedures.
• Cleans work areas, equipment and utensils.
• Distributes supplies, utensils and portable equipment.
• Serves customers in a friendly, efficient manner following outlined steps of service.
• Resolves customer concerns and relays relevant information to supervisor.
