Chartwells Higher Ed is hiring for full-time and part-time Food Service Utility roles at Canisius College in Buffalo, NY. The positions involve maintaining clean kitchen work areas and supporting food service operations. Online applications are accepted only, with pay between $16.00 and $16.50 per hour.

Schedules vary across mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekdays and weekends. Prior food service experience is a plus, and the job offers benefits for eligible associates.

Responsibilities

• Sweep and mop floors to comply with safety and sanitation standards.
• Wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks and other food prep surfaces.
• Remove trash and place it into designated containers; steam clean or hose out garbage cans.
• Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
• Assist with banquet table and front-of-house setup.
• Assist with loading/unloading and delivering supplies and products.
• Distribute supplies, utensils and portable equipment as needed.
• Comply with sanitation and safety requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
