Job summary

Wayland Academy in Wisconsin is seeking a Facilities & Grounds Worker to maintain campus buildings, grounds, and related infrastructure. You will perform skilled and semi-skilled tasks across maintenance, custodial support, and safety compliance to keep the campus clean, safe, and well‑maintained.

Responsibilities include routine repairs, inspections, grounds upkeep, equipment operation, snow removal, and cooperation with contractors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in facilities, maintenance, custodial, or grounds preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, painting).
• Maintain landscaped areas, walkways, parking lots, and campus green spaces.
• Operate grounds and maintenance equipment; respond to safety concerns and document issues.
• Assist custodial staff with cleaning, room setups, and event prep.
• Follow safety procedures and report hazards promptly.
