Job summary

Great Lakes Management Co. in Golden Valley, MN is seeking a Director of Maintenance to oversee campus maintenance, grounds, housekeeping supervision, and building contracts, reporting to the Executive Director.

The role requires leadership of safety programs and day-to-day operations. You will supervise staff, manage annual budgets, coordinate with nursing, sales, and office teams, ensure all apartments are market-ready, and drive preventive maintenance, vendor contracts, and capital projects

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in a related field and/or at least six years’ experience on a multifamily campus.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Experience relating to aging populations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to manage budgets and vendor contracts.

Responsibilities

• Oversee campus maintenance, grounds, housekeeping supervision and building contracts.
• Lead safety programs and ensure OSHA compliance.
• Maintain appearance and upkeep of properties; conduct daily rounds.
• Coordinate with Executive Director, Nursing, Sales and Business Office.
• Manage budgets, invoices and annual department budgets.
• Plan capital projects and oversee vendor contracting.
