Michigan State University College of Engineering invites applications for the Case Dining Service Worker I. You will be the face of our residential dining halls, assisting with prep and serving, and delivering friendly, student-centered service in a fast-paced environment.

Located in Case Hall on campus in East Lansing, this on-site role offers opportunities to work with a dedicated culinary team and gain hands-on experience in food safety, guest relations, and service operations.

Qualifications

• Casual knowledge of food ingredients and basic prep and serving techniques.
• One year experience in a food-related role is desirable.
• Willingness to work a flexible shift.
• Hygiene standards compliant with sanitation rules.

Responsibilities

• Prep, organize, and stock salad bars and hot/cold food stations.
• Collaborate with culinary team to portion and serve dishes.
• Own your station and apply proper food handling to reduce waste.
• Serve as a welcoming face to students, faculty, staff and visitors.
