Job summary

Aramark is launching a Campus Dining Dietitian/Nutritionist at Eastern Kentucky University to lead health and wellness initiatives, working with culinary and marketing teams to enrich student experiences through programs, demos and events.

The role emphasizes food safety oversight, nutrition education, and collaboration with campus partners; travel 0–25% is expected. A bachelor's in nutrition or related field and ServSafe certification within 6 weeks are required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in nutrition, dietetics, food/health sciences or related field.
  • ServSafe certification; must be obtained within 6 weeks of hire date.
  • At least 1 year of experience in K12, higher education or food service preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Supports health and wellness platforms and implementation of programs such as tabling events, food samplings, cooking demos, lunch and learns, health fairs, guest speaker events, dining tours and other on-campus programming.
  • Engages the student population through social media and pop-up events to drive engagement and student satisfaction.
  • Supports meal plan sales by helping students choose plans that meet dietary needs and campus housing.
  • Supports peer-to-peer programming and student interns as needed.
  • Maintains up-to-date knowledge on dining, nutrition and sustainability practices and trends.
  • Collaborates with campus organizations and serves as a liaison between dining services and partners.
  • Oversees compliance with FDA menu labeling laws related to recipes and signage; supports safety policies and allergen management.
