Responsibilities
Conduct daily documentation and treatment planning for students.
Provides individual and group counseling sessions.
Implements and evaluates a comprehensive counseling program.
Skills
Proficiency in the identification and treatment of mental disorders
Ability to think in terms of population management
Knowledge of evidence-based behavioral assessments
Ability to make quick and accurate clinical assessments
Care-management skills and knowledge of local resources
Skill in targeted, brief psychotherapy
Ability to communicate effectively
Education
Master’s degree from an accredited college or university
Valid Texas School Counselor Certificate or Mental Health Provider License
Master’s degree in Counseling (preferred)
Experience in a K-12 school setting (preferred)
