Job summary

Beacon College seeks a Staff Psychologist to join the Counseling Center as a full-time, 10-month staff member. The role provides diagnostic assessment, individual psychotherapy, group therapy, crisis intervention, consultation and outreach to Beacon College students.

The incumbent will supervise a small staff of counselors and master’s-level licensed interns, coordinate Counseling Center programs, and participate in on-call duties. Requires Ph.D./Psy.D.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical or Counseling Psychology from an APA-accredited program.
• Licensed as a Psychologist/Health Service Provider in the state of Florida within one year of hire.
• Completion of an APA-accredited internship.

Responsibilities

• Provides diagnostic assessment, individual psychotherapy, group therapy, crisis intervention, consultation and outreach programming for Beacon College students.
• Supervises a small staff of full and part-time counselors and masters level licensed interns.
