Chartwells Higher Education Dining Services is hiring for full-time COOK positions in Texarkana, Texas. Location at Texas A&M University-Texarkana with online applications accepted only. Schedule is full-time with varied days/hours.

Prior cooking experience preferred and pay ranges from $12.00 to $14.00 per hour. Responsibilities include preparing high-quality food per recipes, portioning, serving or delivery preparation, maintaining cleanliness, and proper food storage.

Responsibilities

• Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production, delivery and service schedules.
• Serves meals or prepares for delivery by using correct portioning, meeting outlined standards, ensuring that food is at the correct temperature and is attractive and tasty.
• Keeps refrigerators and storerooms clean and neat; ensures food and supply items are stored per standards.
• Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed.
• Assists in ordering and receiving of all food and supplies as required.
