Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering.
• 15+ years of experience in construction and project planning.
• Ground-up construction and greenfield site development.
• Capital budget management and knowledge of electrical/mechanical systems.
• Knowledge of building codes and safety standards, including fire protection.
• Strong negotiation skills with contractors and change orders.
• Experience with Google Workspace (Docs/Sheets/Slides).
• Data center development and construction experience.
• Ability to integrate AI tools to optimize workflows and ensure responsible AI practices.

Job description

Meta is seeking an experienced Campus Construction Manager to lead offsite construction execution for Meta's largest AI data center campus - a site with record setting scale, innovative hyperscale infrastructure and ongoing expansion.

Our data centers are the foundation upon which our rapidly scaling infrastructure efficiently operates and upon which our innovative services are delivered. Building and operating data centers the "right" way is synonymous with ensuring high uptime, capacity availability and capital conservation. The data center engineering team thinks from chip to chiller (or electrical substation), determining configurations and ensuring maximum efficiency of our compute infrastructure, and the Design Engineering and Construction - Delivery Team is committed to continual optimization of the delivery process at each level.

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or equivalent degree/work experience 15+ years of experience in construction and project planning
• Experience with ground-up construction and greenfield site development
• Experience in construction management, capital budget management and knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems
• Knowledge of industry standards, building codes, and safety standards, including fire protection regulations
• Negotiation experience, including resolving contractor disputes and managing change orders
• Experience with Google Documents, Google Sheets, Google Slides and other products from Google Suite
• Data center development and construction experience
• Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements)
• Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (e.g., risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality and accuracy reviews)
• Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development (e.g., prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologies
