Job summary

JE Dunn Construction in Santa Clara, CA is seeking a Campus Intern to provide basic, hands-on support for project management, estimating, safety and accounting under supervision. You’ll monitor crew size, report progress, assist with site observations, help close out projects, coordinate pricing with vendors, and participate in safety culture.

Enrollment in a related bachelor's program is required; base pay is $30–$33 per hour plus eligible bonus.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in accredited bachelor's degree program or higher.
• Pursuing studies related to construction management or engineering.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Work with the project team to monitor crew size, self-perform hours, materials, quantity and equipment.
• Provide progress updates and reports
• Conduct job site observations with project leadership
• Support the close out of projects, including the punchlist, operations and maintenance manuals, as-built drawings, etc.
• Support vendor/trade partner pricing/bid solicitation and coordination
• Participate in all aspects of the project-specific safety plan and culture
• Work collaboratively and create relationships with project team members, trade partners, vendors and clients
• Perform other duties as required by supervisor
