Compass Group, North America is hiring a Catering Driver (Full Time) at George Washington University in Washington, DC to deliver food, supplies and other products to units across campus using a company vehicle.

Qualified applicants will have a valid state driver’s license and a clean driving record; prior route driving and food service experience are preferred. The position offers a comprehensive benefits package and a competitive hourly pay range of $19.50–$26.00.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid state driver’s license and a valid food handler’s permit where required.
• Safe operation of company vehicles in accordance with traffic laws and conditions.
• Prior route driving and food service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivers food, supplies and other products to units and areas of service using a vehicle.
• Picks up requisitioned supplies from staging clerk.
• Loads orders onto truck in a safe, orderly manner and unloads at delivery site.
• Follows sanitation and safety guidelines when handling food and equipment.
• Provides quality customer service via one-on-one attention to detail.
