Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking an energetic Student Cashier to join the team at Wofford College Terrier Grounds in Spartanburg, South Carolina. This role supports daily operations with a focus on accuracy, friendly service, and teamwork.

You will process cash register transactions, handle card payments, greet guests, stock products, display signage, and maintain a clean, organized register area. Prior cashier experience and excellent customer service are preferred.

Qualifications

• Cashier experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to accurately record guest transactions.
• Ability to make correct change in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Process cash register transactions accurately, input product costs, give correct change, and process debit and credit cards.
• Create a positive and friendly experience for customers and fellow team members.
• Display a natural desire to greet, engage with, and sincerely thank the guest.
• Prepare products and order stock.
• Ensure the proper signage when needed.
• Maintain clean, neat and orderly cash register areas.
