Job summary

Creative Dining Services is hiring a Café Food Service Worker to join the team on the campus of Aquinas College in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The full-time shift runs 2pm to 10:30pm, and pay is $16 per hour.

The role involves preparing and serving food and beverages, setting up service areas, and providing friendly guest service. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent, basic reading and math skills, and the ability to communicate with guests.

Qualifications

• Basic reading and math skills.
• Must be able to communicate and understand guests' primary language(s).

Responsibilities

• Sets up service areas and equipment for daily operations.
• Prepares or assists in the preparation of hot and cold meals and beverages.
• Serves food to customers from counters or steam tables and replenishes items as needed.
• Maintains cleanliness of work areas and handles waste.
• Washes pots and serviceware and keeps areas organized.
• Fulfills miscellaneous duties as assigned.
