University of Georgia is seeking a Bus Operator to perform on-campus bus routes and occasional charters. The role requires safe driving and effective communication with riders, along with completing related paperwork and following supervisor instructions.

The position is full-time, based in the Athens area, with a 40-hour work week and a starting salary of $18.00 per hour (without CDL). Applicants must meet minimum education requirements and be prepared for DOT drug/alcohol testing.

Formación

• Requires at least a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants will submit to drug and alcohol testing as required by the US Department of Transportation.
• Background investigation including a criminal background check is required prior to employment.

Responsabilidades

• Safe operation of buses on routes and occasional charters.
• Wash buses and perform other non-driving related duties as needed from time to time.
• Complete paperwork associated with assignments.
• Attend safety meetings as occasionally scheduled.
