Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a part-time Bartender Non-Tipped at Merrimack College to provide exceptional service, mix and serve drinks, and work collaboratively with servers to ensure quick, accurate service. Qualifying applicants have a high school diploma or GED and 0-1 year of experience; must be of legal drinking age.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: high school diploma or GED.
• 0–1 year of relevant experience.
• Ability to prepare a wide range of beverage recipes.
• Must be of legal age to serve alcohol per local/state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Receive guests, mix and serve drinks with/without alcohol and create recipes with proper garnishes.
• Ensure the bar area is stocked with necessary tools and products for drink preparation.
• Prepare accurate starting counts and place inventory orders as needed.
• Remain cordial, diplomatic and attentive when dealing with customers.
• Walk or move around the bar area as required during shifts.
• Ability to stand for long periods, potentially exceeding 8 hours.
