Job summary

Sodexo at Fisk University in Nashville is hiring a Barista II to craft hand-made beverages and contribute to a welcoming guest experience. You will operate the cash register, keep work areas clean, and support team members across shifts.

The role is part-time with varying shifts and open availability preferred. Previous customer service or food prep experience is valued, and a Starbucks Barista certification may be required at some locations.

• Previous related experience in customer service, food preparation, sanitation and inventory control.
• Starbucks Barista certification may be required at some locations.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, take orders, mix and serve hot and cold beverages such as coffee, espresso, cappuccino, café latte, tea, chai, fruit blend drinks, etc.
• Record all sales, collect cash/credit card/electronic payments and operate a cash register
• Clean coffee machines, restaurant areas, restrooms and preparation areas
• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.
