Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a Barista to join our team in Honolulu. You’ll deliver exceptional customer service while crafting hand-made beverages and maintaining a clean, inviting coffee bar environment.

Responsibilities include beverage preparation, upselling menu items, and assisting with cash handling and opening/closing routines. A high school diploma and customer service experience are required; food safety knowledge is essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Customer service related work experience.
• Knowledge of food preparation, sanitation, standards, and inventory control systems.
• Starbucks Baristas may be required to be certified.

Responsibilities

• Greets all guests and provides quick, friendly, and personalized service.
• Mixes and serves hot and cold beverages such as coffee, espresso, cappuccino, café latte, tea, chai, fruit drinks, etc.
• Maintains good customer relations and speedy delivery of beverages and food items.
• Educates guests regarding menu offerings and initiates suggestive selling.
• Cashes out customers, operates a cash register, and follows cash-handling procedures.
