Job summary

National Mortgage Staffing seeks a Barista to operate beverage stations at the UAA campus cafeteria, delivering friendly service and high-quality drinks. You will brew coffee, input sales in the POS, handle cash, and keep work areas clean.

The role requires a HS diploma, an approved food handler card, and 6 months of barista and cashier experience. English proficiency is required; preferred candidates have 1 year barista and 2 years customer service experience and can work with minimal

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Food Handler's Card or ServSafe certification within 30 days.
• Six (6) months barista experience and six (6) months cashier experience.
• Must speak, understand, read and write English.

Responsibilities

• Assists customers with information, beverage orders, and recommendations.
• Brews a wide variety of specialty coffees and beverages.
• Inputs sales into POS systems and handles cash deposits.
• Maintains cleanliness and food handling procedures.
• Restocks inventory and assists with periodic cleaning projects.
• Other duties as assigned.
