Job summary

Aramark is hiring full-time Baristas at California State University, Sacramento State. You will prepare drinks, assist with food prep, handle orders and payments, and deliver memorable customer experiences.

Responsibilities include operating the POS, greeting customers, preparing beverages and food to brand standards, balancing cash, and maintaining a clean work area. Prior barista and cash handling experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience preferred.
• Previous cash handling experience preferred.
• Previous experience as a barista preferred.
• Basic math and counting skills required.
• Ability to read and communicate in English and follow recipes.

Responsibilities

• Accurately operate a register/POS and handle cash and credit card transactions.
• Greet and assist customers while anticipating their needs.
• Prepare and serve coffees, teas, and specialty beverages per brand standards.
• Prepare and serve food items in line with location standards.
• Count, balance cash drawer, fill out cashier slip and make deposits.
• Adhere to Aramark's cash handling policies and procedures.
• Set up and break down coffee bar, stations or store including cleaning and sanitizing.
• Maintain clean and sanitary work area.
• Stock beverage coolers, grab and go items, service ware and condiments.
• Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines for all products.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
