Job summary

Guest Services, Inc. is seeking a Campground Host to greet visitors, answer questions, and explain regulations at outdoor campgrounds. You will work in varying weather, assist with reservations, and maintain cleanliness and safety across sites while reporting issues to supervisors.

Qualifications

Strong customer service abilities; actively looks for ways to assist customers and coworkers.
Ability to recognize when a problem has occurred and communicate it to management.

Responsibilities

Perform light maintenance around campground (litter pickup, sweeping, stocking restrooms).
Clean campsites and report any damage to supervisor; prepare sites after camper checkout and before next check-in.
Keep track of occupied and vacant sites; assist camper reservation process.
Maintain written reports of complaints and health/safety issues; address maintenance items needing attention.
Set an example of good housekeeping and adherence to campground rules; work weekends/holidays.
Provide visitors information on tour boats, store hours, bike/cano/kayak rentals, and trails.
