Job summary

Tusk Ventures is seeking a Campaign Specialist for our Chicago office to turn strategy into action. You will research ground realities, build lists and trackers, and lead high-volume outreach to partners and influencers.

You will draft emails and posts, manage content pipelines, and help coordinate coalition-building, grassroots efforts, events and media opportunities across multiple campaigns. This role blends hands-on research with execution in fast-moving environments.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in politics, campaigns, advocacy, or related fast-moving environment.
• Strong researcher who verifies facts from incomplete sources.
• Excellent written communication and ability to write clearly and quickly.
• Comfortable with public records, social media, and diverse research sources.

Responsibilities

• Research what is happening on the ground and identify key players and opportunities.
• Build memos, lists, trackers and materials for campaign teams.
• Do high-volume outreach via email, phone, social media and other channels.
• Recruit supporters, coalition partners, validators, customers, industry participants.
• Follow up repeatedly, track responses and keep conversations from slipping away.
• Draft outreach emails, scripts, and follow-ups tailored to audiences.
• Produce and execute social and digital content at campaign speed across clients.
• Turn messages and news into a steady pipeline of usable content.
• Manage posting calendars and execute approved content across channels.
• Identify timely online conversation opportunities and respond accordingly.
• Support coalition building, grassroots organizing, events and media opportunities.
• Work across several campaigns and stay organized to close assignments.
