Job summary

Blood Cancer United is seeking a part-time, temporary Campaign Logistics & Data Coordinator to support our regional fundraising campaigns. You will manage on-site event logistics, data entry, and vendor coordination to help exceed revenue goals.

Join a mission-driven team and collaborate with education, services and health research to advance our shared goals. Travel within the designated area is required; 30 hrs/week during a 9-month assignment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Summary

Blood Cancer United is a mission centric, locally delivered and nationally powered organization, relentlessly pursuing cancer cures. To help achieve this mission, this role is responsible for logistics, data management and coordination for Blood Cancer United designated market and peer-to-peer fundraising products to exceed revenue goals for Blood Cancer United mission, within a designated market area.

Core Responsibilities/ Primary Duties

• Mission Integration
  • Partner with Education, Services and Health Research department to effectively communicate the Blood Cancer United overall mission, programs, resources, and priorities.
• Event Logistics
  • Act as an on-site manager during the campaign fundraising event, overseeing activities, staff, vendors, and volunteers to ensure satisfaction of participants, and resolutions of problems.
  • Oversee logistics, timelines, and other operational elements for assigned fundraising campaigns.
  • Provide input into the development of a strategic plan for the peer-to-peer fundraising products, including revenue, budget, goals, and timelines.
  • Responsible for managing expense budgets as related to logistics.
  • Research and recommend event venues and location sites based on campaign standards and in coordination with National Shared Services, Logistics Team.
• Volunteer Development
  • Responsible for assigned peer-to-peer fundraising teams to achieve overall revenue goals.
  • Works in conjunction with Volunteer Coordinator and collaborate with local relationship team and national shared service partners throughout Blood Cancer United.
• Data Management
  • Manage data entry to ensure CRM and fundraising systems are accurate. Update systems in a timely manner. Provides reports to fundraising relationship team as needed.
  • Connect with vendors to secure the best rate or in-kind donation of services as needed.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• 0 - 2 years’ experience in a related role

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

• Incumbents are expected to provide general business support including data entry, processing letters for campaigns, customizing webpages, coordinating logistics for events, scheduling committee and board meetings, and other general business process support.
• Works under close supervision and the work is typically routine or follows standard procedures.
• Successfully demonstrates the following:
