Job summary

Pat Ryan for Congress is seeking a Finance Assistant to support the Finance Director and Deputy Finance Director in expanding our fundraising operations. This in-district role involves careful organization, donor engagement, and precise record-keeping to help fund our campaign efforts in NY-18.

The position is in-person in District, NY-18, with occasional evening or weekend work as fundraising events occur.

Qualifications

• Prior campaign or fundraising experience preferred, but not required.
• Must be highly organized and detail oriented.
• Strong communication skills are essential.
• Positive attitude with problem-solving ability.
• Able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Prepping calls for the Congressman as directed by Finance leadership.
• Conduct donor research and identify targets for outreach.
• Log donor interactions in the donor CRM and schedule follow-ups.
• Support planning and execution of fundraising events.
• Assist with donor follow-ups via email and phone.
