Maronto For Chicago is seeking a Petition Canvasser to engage with neighborhood residents, share information about the campaign, and collect signatures for the petition. You will work directly in communities, helping the campaign reach signature goals for the Chicago Mayor 2027 race.

You’ll educate voters on the candidate's platform, build local relationships, and report signatures accurately while supporting event outreach and grassroots activities.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills capable of engaging diverse audiences.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently in neighborhoods.
• Comfortable initiating conversations with unfamiliar people.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends with flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Engage with community members to gather signatures for the petition.
• Educate voters about the campaign and its platform.
• Build relationships with residents to foster support for the campaign.
• Record and report collected signatures accurately and efficiently.
• Collaborate with the campaign team to plan outreach efforts.
• Check-in and deliver gathered signatures to complete assignments.
