Job summary

Life Time Inc. in Garland, Texas is seeking a Kids Camp Supervisor responsible for the overall direction, organization, and supervision of the Summer Camp programs. You will lead counselors, engage campers in fun and challenging activities, and ensure a friendly, safe environment for families.

This role involves coordinating schedules, field trips, inventory, and supporting hiring and training with the Kids Manager, while promoting Kids Activities programs to members.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• 1 year of summer camp counselor experience.
• First Aid Certification.
• Infant/Child and Adult CPR/AED certification.
• Ability to tolerate loud noises.
• Ability to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; climb ladders.

Responsibilities

• Engages children in interactive activities including arts & crafts, singing, sports, games, and field trips.
• Ensures Counselors are engaged and building positive relationships with campers.
• Promotes and sells Kids Activities programs to members to increase revenue and participation.
• Maintains summer camp inventory and orders supplies with the Kids Manager's permission.
• Creates and coordinates staff schedules, daily activity schedules, and field trips according to guidelines.
• Provides assistance and recommendations for hiring, termination, training and performance feedback of staff to the Kids Manager.

Position Summary

The Kids Camp Supervisor is responsible for the overall direction, organization, and supervision of the Summer Camp programs. They supervise counselors to ensure they are engaging campers in fun and challenging activities. They provide a friendly, safe, and welcoming environment for counselors, campers and parents. The Kids Camp Supervisor leads by example to partner in our continued approach to grow healthy, happy kids.

• Provides assistance and recommendations for hiring, termination, training and performance feedback of staff to the Kids Manager
