The Camp Jones Gulch Program Staff, under the guidance of the Program Director, is responsible for leading engaging, safe, and enjoyable activities for youth and program participants. Staff will facilitate specialized activities such as climbing, zip-lining, archery, canoeing, hiking, arts and crafts, and gardening for campers and visiting groups. Additional responsibilities may include assisting with evening programs, teambuilding sessions, and maintaining program sites. This is an on-call position with no guaranteed or regular schedule.
The Camp Jones Gulch Program Staff role involves working primarily outdoors in various weather conditions, including heat, cold, and rain. Staff must be able to actively participate in physical activities such as hiking, climbing, paddling, and lifting or moving equipment weighing up to 30 pounds. This position requires sustained energy, attentiveness, and flexibility to adapt to changing program needs while maintaining a safe and inclusive environment for participants.
The hourly rate for the Camp Jones Gulch Program Staff position ranges from $19.61 to $23.00, based on experience, qualifications, and alignment with salary benchmarking standards. This rate is determined in accordance with grant funding approval and organizational compensation policies for the role.
