Job summary

American Youth Foundation seeks a Boys Camp Coordinator to lead and support Camp staff, supervise Cabin Leaders, and ensure camper safety across age groups. This onsite role requires daily guidance, program planning, and strong communication with families.

The position emphasizes mentorship, teamwork, and readiness to handle emergencies while fostering an inclusive, engaging camp environment for youth in a residential setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 21 years.
• 2-3 years working or volunteering with youth in recreational or educational settings.
• Professional experience as a peer supervisor or 2-3 years of student leadership.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor Cabin Leaders and support staff.
• Coordinate camper safety and health, respond to emergencies.
• Plan and facilitate age-group programming and activities.
• Communicate with camper families and staff; ensure schedules and coverage.
• Collaborate with Activities and Logistics teams for camp operations.
• Model responsible, inclusive, and supportive leadership in all activities.
