The Salvation Army USA Southern Territory is seeking a Camp Conservatory Dance Instructor in Starke, Florida for a temporary full-time role. You will guide dance and performance activities, train campers in dance and service learning, and prepare students for recitals while ensuring safety and a positive camp experience.
Responsibilities include lesson delivery, supervising equipment, coordinating with camp policies, maintaining discipline, and supporting evening programs and events.

Plans, coordinates and directs the functions of the Conservatory dance program; ensures the quality of programs and safety of youth at all times; provides guidance and role modeling to youth and ensures safety and a positive experience for campers.
Some physical requirements of the Camp Music Conservatory Dance Instructor position could be endurance including climbing, standing, some bending, stooping, and stretching. Eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity to manipulate activities are required. Requires normal range of hearing and eyesight to record, prepare, and communicate appropriate camper activities/programs and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Have a willingness to live in a camp setting and work irregular hours delivering a program in the facility available.Operate with daily exposure to the sun and heat and varying environmental conditions.
