Job summary

Trail West Lodge, part of Young Life, is seeking a camp leader to oversee health, safety and spiritual formation for staff and guests at our Colorado camp. You will guide hospitality, service quality, and teamwork to deliver a meaningful camp experience.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and 3–5 years of management experience; travel at least 3 times per year is expected, with alignment to Young Life’s mission and values.

Qualifications

  • Young Life previous experience preferred.
  • 3-5 years of general management and supervisory experience.
  • Demonstrate thorough knowledge and effective involvement in ministry.
  • Has proven leadership and relationship skills required to build a high‑performing trusting team, communicate effectively, delegate responsibility and offer accountability.
  • Demonstrate operational disciplines including prioritizing, analyzing data, and developing and executing systems.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the community to ensure health, safety and security of all guests and staff at camp.
  • Foster spiritual formation and personal growth plans for staff, with annual development goals.
  • Provide hospitality and professional service to guests, vendors, and staff.
  • Develop strong interpersonal relationships and lead department supervisors.
  • Collaborate with leadership to align camp operations with Young Life standards and mission.
