Job summary

Camp Bow Wow MESA is hiring Camp Counselors who love dogs and can work nights, weekends, and holidays. You will supervise dogs, keep a safe and clean play area, and help with baths and basic care. Must live near Tempe/Mesa and be able to work during operating hours.

We offer full-time and part-time roles with training in Pet First Aid & CPR (paid). Compensation starts at $15.15 per hour plus tips, with pay increases based on experience and responsibility.

Qualifications

Must love dogs and be able to work nights, weekends and holidays.
Experience with dogs of all breeds and sizes is preferred.
Willing to complete Pet First Aid and CPR training (paid by employer).

Responsibilities

Supervise and ensure the safety of dogs in a fun, clean environment.
Monitor up to 25 dogs, assist with play, baths and basic care.
Engage with dogs to assess behavior and respond to needs.
Work during hours of operation at the TEMPE/MESA location.

Title: Camp Counselor for Camp Bow Wow MESA

Do you like being rewarded with face licks and nose bops? We are looking for hard-working, dog-loving people to join our pack and help us create a fun and safe environment for dogs. Camp Bow Wow is a Premier Doggy Day and Overnight Camp that provides a fun, safe and upscale environment for dogs to play, romp and receive lots of love and attention! We provide doggy day camp for clients wishing to drop their dogs off in the morning and pick them up in the evening, as well as overnight boarding for travelers. We are looking for full and part-time Camp Counselors that have a genuine love of dogs, are energetic, enthusiastic, hardworking and reliable team players. Camp Bow Wow cares for dogs 365 days a year including Saturdays, Sundays, and every holiday. Candidates must be able to work during hours of operation. Must live in proximity to TEMPE/ MESA location.

Engaging with dogs and monitoring their physical and mental behavior
Breed specialty (example: teacups, high activity level or extra-large breeds)
