The Camera Software team focuses on user-experience, utilizing computer vision and image processing through machine learning.Our team works hard on products that ship to millions of people. We are looking for people who want to do the same. The Camera Software team provides the capture and camera foundation across all of Apple’s innovative devices. We aim to deliver an unsurpassed media experience by combining forward-leaning software techniques with the latest innovations in hardware.
Camera frameworks engineers are the driving force behind shipping great camera features. As part of the team, you contribute to all facets of new features, including feature definitions, interface definitions, implementation, integration, and testing. Collaborating cross-functionally is at the core of our team and plays a vital role in delivering the quality that we expect. This includes image quality, responsiveness, performance, efficiency, and overall end-user experience. Engineers on our team consider these aspects with every change they make.
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $129,300 and $225,300, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
