KEH Camera in Smyrna, GA is seeking a Camera Quality Inspection Technician to join our fast-growing team. You will evaluate incoming gear, from digital cameras to lenses, ensuring every item meets KEH’s quality standards before it reaches customers.

No prior experience required—on-the-job training is provided. Starting pay is $16.00 per hour with opportunities to advance to $17.00/hour after six months and performance-based incentives up to $7.00/hour.

Qualifications

• Must have basic command of English (read/write/understand).
• No prior experience required; willingness to learn and grow.
• Attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive inspection tasks.
• Ability to follow instructions and document findings clearly.
• Comfortable working seated or standing for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and test cameras, lenses, and accessories for quality.
• Identify functional or cosmetic issues such as haze, dust, scratches.
• Grade equipment according to KEH’s quality scale.
• Record findings in internal systems.
• Collaborate with Receiving and Sorting teams to maintain workflow.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace.

What You Will Do:

As a Camera Quality Inspection Technician, you’ll help evaluate incoming photographic gear — from digital cameras to vintage film models — ensuring everything meets our high quality standards before it reaches our customers. You'll receive thorough on-the-job training and be supported every step of the way as you develop valuable technical skills.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Inspect and test various photographic equipment, including digital, 35mm, medium format, and large format cameras, as well as lenses and accessories.
• Identify functional or cosmetic issues such as haze, dust, fungus, scratches, or mechanical faults.
• Grade equipment based on KEH’s standardized quality scale.
• Record and document all findings accurately in our internal systems.
• Collaborate with Receiving and Sorting teams to maintain workflow and quality standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace and handle all tools and equipment with care.

Bonus if you have:
Experience with electronics, camera equipment, or quality control — but not required.
