Job summary

Qualifications

• BS degree in a relevant field
• 6+ years in quality or test engineering
• 2+ years leading or managing engineers
• 6+ years defining/executing test strategy for embedded firmware, drivers, or system software
• 6+ years building/maintaining test automation frameworks in Python or a comparable scripting language
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Git and embedded build systems
• Experience testing hardware and backend integration points on embedded devices

Responsibilities

• Manage, mentor, and grow a team of engineers, setting technical direction and supporting career development
• Own the camera and ISP quality test strategy, including development, maintenance, and execution of test plans across functionality, performance, power, stability, and image quality
• Write and maintain automation code in Python, execute test plans, provide technical leadership on tooling
• Present test results, quality metrics, and risk assessments to senior leadership
• Partner with firmware engineers, driver teams, architects, and PMs to define quality standards and expand automated test coverage in CI/CD pipelines
• Recruit, onboard, and develop engineering talent capable of tackling embedded camera quality challenges
