Job summary

Hearst Television in Rogers, AR is seeking a part-time Camera Operator to control broadcast cameras during newscasts and support the production team.

You will work on live broadcasts, operate the audio console and studio lights, and prepare video recordings for air, with shifts starting as early as 3:30am and including weekends. In-person attendance is required to ensure smooth operations and broadcast quality.

Qualifications

• Experience operating professional video cameras in live production.
• Experience using Windows-based computer software.
• Knowledge of robotic camera operation and audio.
• Immediate response to issues that unexpectedly arise on air is necessary.
• Knowledge of studio lighting.
• Climb ladders up to 15 feet and the ability to lift 25 pounds.
• Can work flexible hours and shifts including holidays and weekends.
• Engage with team to resolve unanticipated situations.
• Related military experience will be considered.
• In person attendance required.

40/29, the ABC affiliate in Rogers, AR has an opening for a part-time Camera Operator. As Camera Operator, you will control the visual broadcast equipment during newscasts. You will work with the news production team and have a working knowledge of broadcast production operations to bring an organized and creative perspective to our television screens. You will report to the Director of Engineering.
