Job summary

Description

As a Sensor Digital Designer you will own the specification and verification of sensor digital signal processing and many aspects of sensor interfaces.

• Collaborating with global sensor suppliers to develop and evaluate new sensors
• Collaborating with sensor designers in analyzing digital micro‑architecture and embedded sub‑systems
• Detailing and communicating your results to multi‑functional engineering teams
• Working with the internal customer teams to evaluate the contribution of the sensor to system performance
• Working with collaborators to assure that sufficient and correct verification/testing is implemented at all stages to guarantee performance

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of digital design experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to use industry standard ASIC design tools
• Experience with modern design verification techniques in mixed‑signal environments
• Multi‑disciplinary understanding of EE, CE, and Physics principles is a plus
• Experience with image sensor technologies is a plus
• Ability to work closely with others in a very multi‑functional team environment
• Ability to detail and present your results across collaborators
• Ability to drive, influence and lead technical engagements

Compensation and Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $175,500 and $311,700, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
