BlockReel in Austin, TX is seeking a skilled Camera Operator to capture a cinematic brand film for a tech company. You will operate the main camera, frame interviews and energetic b-roll, and work with a small, friendly crew.

We value a reliable eye for composition, exposure, and focus. A reel showcasing your work is essential, and corporate shoot experience is a plus but not required. The project spans 1–2 days with weekday shoots and a 10-hour day.

We're looking for a skilled Camera Operator to help capture a dynamic brand film for a well-known tech company. This isn't your typical dry corporate video; we're aiming for a cinematic, engaging piece that highlights innovation and company culture, blending interviews with energetic b-roll. It's an independent production, a great chance to add a polished corporate piece to your reel and work with a fun, small crew. Your main responsibilities will include operating the primary camera (likely a C300 or similar, provided by production), setting up shots as directed, ensuring proper exposure and focus, and assisting with basic camera prep and breakdown. We're looking for someone who is reliable, has a good eye, and can work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Experience with corporate shoots is a plus, but we're open to any experience level if you can demonstrate a strong understanding of camera operation and composition. A reel showcasing your camera work is essential. The shoot is expected to be a 1-2 day commitment in Austin, TX, sometime in late October 2026. Exact dates are TBD but will be weekdays, 10-hour days including lunch. Compensation is $150-300/day, paid upon delivery of footage. Production will provide camera packages, basic lighting, and catering. We just need your talent and a positive attitude.
