TTM Technologies, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented CAM/PCB Analyst to perform design rule checks, verify traveler discrepancies, and modify design data to meet customer specifications.

You will panelize data, create drill/rout files, and ensure DFM accuracy while coordinating with process engineering, planning, sales, and customers. The role requires proficiency with Valor-Genesis 2000, strong PCB feature knowledge, and clear English communication.

Qualifications

  • Strong application knowledge of PCB features and CAM tooling.
  • Ability to interpret IPC and customer specifications.
  • Basic understanding of CI modeling.
  • Excellent computer skills.
  • Ability to read, write and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

  • Use CAM tools to perform design rule analysis of PCBs.
  • Run DRC against traveler to inspect discrepancies with customer specs.
  • Report discrepancies to Planning Department and communicate deviations.
  • Modify design data to meet customer requirements.
  • Adjust PCB image aspects (line widths, pad sizes, data codes, etch comp, annular ring) for compliance.
  • Create files to panelize data, drill/rout, and output data.
  • Produce array drawings to complete PCB layout.
  • Complete DFM paperwork accurately.
  • Verify design notes on traveler.
  • Resolve any design issues promptly and liaise with process Eng, planning, sales, and customers.
  • Complete internal department documentation accurately.

Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Use CAM tools to perform design rule analysis of printed circuit boards
  • Run DRC upon receipt of traveler from Planning Department to inspect discrepancies between customer specifications and PCB design image for production
  • Report discrepancies to Planning Department communicating deviations
  • Modify design data to ensure customer design requirements are met
  • Modify various aspects of PCB image such as line widths, pad sizes, data codes, etch comp and annular ring to ensure compliance with engineering standards
  • Create computer files to panelize data, drill/rout files and output data
  • Create array drawings to complete PCB layout
  • Accurately complete DFM paperwork
  • Verify all design and special notes are implemented on traveler
  • Resolve any and all design issues immediately as they arise
  • Communicate with process engineering, planning, sales team and customers regarding any and all specifications or issues which arise
  • Complete all internal department documentation accurately

Essential Knowledge and Skills
  • Proficient knowledge of Valor-Genesis 2000
  • Strong application and working knowledge of PCB features with proficiency with CAM in preparing computer files for manufacturing tooling
  • Ability to interpret IPC and customer supplied specifications
  • Basic understanding of CI modeling
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Ability to read, write and communicate in English to the degree necessary to perform the job

Compensation for roles at TTM Technologies varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, TTM provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in New York, California and Colorado. For California-based roles, compensation ranges are based upon specific physical locations.
