Job summary

Luxoft is seeking an experienced Calypso QA Analyst in NYC to design, execute, and own the functional testing layer across regression, integration, message, and report testing phases. You will collaborate with a CATT Architect and Developer to map test cases to scripts and schedules, ensuring end-to-end coverage of portfolios in multiple asset classes.

You will drive test case creation from functional specs, validate 12 product lifecycles, and oversee EOD/closure testing and SWIFT messaging

Qualifications

• Must have 3–7 years Calypso technical experience.
• Hands-on Calypso experience — trade booking, UAT, system workflows.
• Proven test case writing from functional specifications.
• Knowledge of capital markets trade lifecycles (FX, Fixed Income, Money Market, Repos).
• SWIFT messaging standards (MT1xx, MT2xx, MT3xx, MT5xx, MT9xx).
• Reconciliation concepts — trade comparison, BO object processing, transfer matching.
• Direct CATT experience — regression or integration modules.
• Calypso version upgrade project experience.
• IMS or SWIFT interface testing in a Calypso context.

Responsibilities

• Test Case Creation: write structured test cases from specs and requirements.
• Cover the full trade lifecycle: booking, amendments, cancellation, roll-over.
• Define expected results and acceptance criteria for each test case.
• Maintain and version-control test libraries across project phases.
• Map test cases to CATT scripts with architect for execution schedules.
• Execute CATT regression packs comparing PROD baselines with release envs.
• Validate trade lifecycle events across 12 in-scope products.
• Perform trade and BO object reconciliation; validate downstream systems.
• Execute EOD and report testing; validate SWIFT messages per product.
• Deliver demos and test results to stakeholders after each phase.
