Responsibilities

• Run the contract clinic's Nasogastric Tube Insertion intake, sorting urgent from routine in the first five minutes
• Verify two patient identifiers before every draw, scan, and medication pass
• Follow evidence-based guidelines to improve treatment results
• Recognize and escalate changes in patient status promptly
• Verify blood products at the bedside with a second Pharmacy Technician, sign-for-sign, before any transfusion
• Perform diagnostic and screening procedures within scope of practice
• Uphold infection control standards and flat-and-fast safety practices at all times
• Catch ordering errors at the source, querying the junior provider rather than guessing
