Location: Houston, TX (Spring Branch Office)

Schedule: Part-Time | Monday–Friday | In-Office

At School Tours of America (STA), we create unforgettable educational travel experiences for students across the country. We're looking for a friendly, organized, and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Calls to Collect Associate.

This isn't a high-pressure collections job. Instead, you'll help families prepare for their upcoming student trips by answering payment questions, sending reminders, and ensuring account balances are paid before travel. If you enjoy helping people, are comfortable talking on the phone, and have great attention to detail, we'd love to meet you.

What You'll Do

  • Contact customers by phone and email regarding outstanding account balances.
  • Provide friendly, professional customer service while answering payment-related questions.
  • Document customer interactions accurately.
  • Review aging reports and prioritize collection efforts.
  • Work closely with various departments such as Airlines, Accounting, and Customer Service to resolve account questions.
  • Assist with reports, filing, maintaining accurate records in the database, and assisting with other administrative projects as needed.

What We're Looking For

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
  • Previous customer service, collections, accounts receivable, or call center experience is preferred.
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Experience using customer account management or database systems is preferred.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required.
