Job summary

Arcadis seeks a California Design and Engineering (D&E) Delivery Lead to join our team in Los Angeles, San Francisco, or other CA cities. You will oversee transportation project delivery, mentor project managers, and lead client interactions while growing our business with pursuing opportunities and staff recruitment.

The role requires 20+ years of engineering experience, a Civil Engineering degree, and a CA PE license or the ability to obtain one within six months.

Qualifications

• 20+ years of relevant engineering experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• California Professional Engineering license, or the ability to obtain one within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing delivery of transportation improvement projects across the project life cycle.
• Recruiting, mentoring, and directing Delivery Project Managers and discipline leads.
• Ensure quality management within project execution with the quality team.
• Conduct monthly project reviews to monitor risk and progress against KPIs.
• Maintain regular client check-ins and manage client expectations.
• Participate in business development, client visits, and proposal preparations.
• Perform roles on multi-disciplined projects including QA/QC reviewer and design leader.
• Prepare written reports, calculations, and other design documentation.
