Job summary

Perrigo is seeking a Calibration Technician for 1st shift at Allegan, MI, to manage balance and scale calibrations, verifications, and preventative maintenance in the calibration lab in compliance with cGMP and SOPs. You will troubleshoot and repair instrumentation across PMI and PMH facilities.

Responsibilities include maintaining certified weights, following safety rules, and supporting quality and continuous improvement initiatives, with opportunities to grow in a structured manufacturing

Qualifications

• 3+ years in calibration, verifications, PM, and repairs on balances/scales.
• Knowledge of NIST Handbook 44 and ISO/IEC 17025 preferred.
• Weights/Measures certification preferred (MDARD).
• CMMS experience with Blue Mountain and SAP is advantageous.
• Enrolment/completion of Perrigo QEW requirements is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage the scale/balance program and certified weights for Perrigo, MI.
• Calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair scales and balances across PMI/PMH.
• Perform instrument calibration, verification, and repairs in the calibration lab.
• Ensure daily housekeeping and safety compliance.
• Follow SOPs and cGMP; complete PM work orders and address issues.
• Assist in optimizing calibration frequencies and test points.
• Assist in developing spare part inventory and support QA concerns.
• Pursue calibration improvements to boost productivity and reduce costs.
