Job summary

Cross Company is seeking a full-time Technician in Savannah, GA to perform high-precision calibrations in multiple disciplines and to manage related documentation. The role involves on-site work, prep of equipment lists and ensuring standards are applied correctly, with emphasis on accuracy and timely data handling.

Applicants should have strong instrument knowledge, experience with calibration programs, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of a wide variety of precision measurement equipment and calibration principles.
• Ability to manage calibration programs and maintain documentation.
• Proficiency with gage management software and Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Calibrate complex instruments across multiple disciplines (Temperature, Pressure, Flow, Vibration, Mass, Electrical, Electronics, Time, Torque, Force, Dimension).
• Prepare for on-site calibrations by reviewing equipment lists and procedures.
• Ensure calibration stickers, work orders, worksheets, tags, and customer information are ready on-site.
• Maintain tools and equipment in calibration and proper working order.
• Create certificates of calibration and provide data worksheets for Quality review.
• Perform quality inspections of calibrated equipment under Quality Manager approval.
• Complete on-site/in-house certificates within 48 hours of job completion.
• Maintain safety and customer service mindset; uphold good attendance and work ethic.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Service Manager.
