Job summary

Accredited Labs is seeking a detail-oriented Calibration Technician to perform accurate calibrations at our Morristown, TN site. You will work with mechanical and electronic instruments, following ISO 17025 procedures and internal documentation to deliver precise results.

You will interact with clients throughout the calibration process, providing updates and ensuring quality standards. The role requires physical capability, strong communication, and a proactive attitude to maintain high-service

Qualifications

• Able to lift 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Experience in a technical or mechanical role.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and Excel/Word skills.
• Knowledge of metrology concepts is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform calibrations accurately and timely in our shop.
• Adhere to ISO 17025 and company procedures.
• Calibrate a wide variety of equipment according to established procedures.
• Maintain calibration records and ensure data accuracy.
• Interact with clients and provide project updates.

Job description

Location

On-site at Morristown, TN office.

Day to Day Responsibilities

• Complete accurate and timely calibrations in our shop
• Perform all duties in accordance with ISO 17025
• Perform routine and complex calibration on a wide variety of equipment per company processes and instruction documentation.
• Perform calibration on a variety of devices and instruments in accordance with established procedures and standards
• Working directly with clients throughout the calibration process from the first onsite touch point to the completion of the project, including good communication to provide client updates to services needed
• Ensure all calibration activities comply with industry regulations and quality standards
• Maintain calibration records and documentation, ensuring all data is accurate and up to date
• Interact professionally with customers, providing excellent service and support

Basic Qualifications

• Able to lift 50lbs, climb, kneel, drive and stand for long periods of time
• Demonstrated ability to learn mechanical and technical skills quickly
• Experience working in a technical or mechanical position
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word Excellent customer service skills
• Good organizational and prioritization skills

Nice to have

• Knowledge of principles, procedures, methods and techniques in metrology gained through education, or professional experience
• Knowledge and experience with Electrical, Physical, and/or Mechanical Calibration of equipment
• Experience working with Manufacturers Quality Systems
• Associate's degree in Engineering, Electronics or other Technical Fields
• Technical Degree or Certificate
• Military PMEL Training Metrology experience
• Experience with IndySoft
