Job summary

The Tatitlek Corporation is seeking an Engineering Technician II who will independently calibrate and certify complex electronic and mechanical test equipment, ensuring traceability to NIST (or constants). The role emphasizes measurement accuracy and proper documentation.

You will perform tests, analyze uncertainties, maintain calibration records, and support customer sites. A Secret Clearance is required or eligible; no degree is required.

Qualifications

• Education - No degree required.
• Active Secret Clearance or be eligible to obtain a Secret Clearance.
• One year of work-related calibration experience.
• Ability to follow specific instructions to perform calibrations.
• Extracting engineering data and preparing CPRs/calibration certificates.

Responsibilities

• Assesses and utilizes calibration methods based on measurement science and accuracy requirements.
• Analyzes error sources and uncertainty to determine reliability of results.
• Diagnose and repair malfunctions in complex measuring equipment using diagrams and schematics.
